"A beautiful resort"

The unit was exceptionally clean. Everything looked brand new. It was comfortable with a lovely view of the mountains. The shower was excellent. The unit is very well insulated against the heat and the cold, making it very cosy. Outside there are currently 2 well-marked walks around the game park with excellent views on a clear day. The area around the units is very well maintained, with a large variety of birds visiting the reservoirs. We spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed it- thank you!

The 9-km gravel road into the resort was drivable in our small car, but quite rutted after rain. One suggestion would be to have more information about the walks - a basic map would have been very useful. It would also be useful to have details about the animals to look out for in the reserve.

L'endroit est absolument fabuleux, au sein d'une ferme avec une vue magnifique. Nous avons pu voir des élans du cap à proximité ! Les hôtes sont plus qu'accueillants, très sympathiques. Un excellent repas a été préparé spécialement pour nous...tout était vraiment parfait !

We had such a lovely stay at Mountain Pastures Game Lodge! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, which made us feel right at home. The apartment was absolutely perfect – beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and we enjoyed a wonderful night’s rest on very complete beds. It was a very cold winter’s day, but we kept cozy with a crackling fire in the fireplace and the added comfort of electric blankets that made our beds wonderfully warm. We also really appreciated the thoughtful touch of finding fresh milk and some delicious rusks waiting for us in the kitchen. One of the highlights was spending time in the guest lounge, where we were able to chat and get to know other guests – such a lovely touch that made the experience feel personal and homely. All in all, it was a memorable stay in a beautiful setting, and we would gladly recommend Mountain Pastures Game Lodge to anyone looking for a welcoming and peaceful getaway.

Friendly and personal attention from our host. Newly revamp room with fireplace and firewood was provided. Great view and also seen animals on the hike.
