We spent 4 days at Canyon Cottage with the family over Christmas. The house is beautiful and the location even more so. The pictures really don’t do it justice. We’ll definitely be back, and for longer next time.

A couple of power outages due to non-stop rain in the area made cooking a little tricky…but communication from the host was great throughout.

The place was fantastic and the bed nice and clean and it was great to have the Charlotte Rhys products as an added touch. We enjoyed the extra kitchen goodies so we could make our own snacks

I think if the place isn't opened often the only problem is the amount of bugs/spiders from the curtains. When they air it out maybe spray some bug spray and or have a box outside with some bug deterant. We found spiders trying to get into our bags. There definitely could've been a better cupboard or armoire for the clothes. Maybe instead of the mirrored vanity thing. Also. It rains often in dullstroom but there wasn't an umbrella. Might be a nice touch.

We stayed at the Hangar Hideout. It is a perfect for a one night stayover. BBQ facility, but bring wood and firelighters. We loved the beautiful estate, well kept and lovely walkways.

Location next to water, setting beautiful.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the walking you could do around the place - it was so beautiful. There was no noise and super peaceful, perfect for a weekend getaway. The place was in an ideal location and just a few minutes drive to the centre of dullstroom.
