I really loved the scenery of the Estate. The food at the Walkersons Restaurant was also amazing.

That there were no alternative to an electric heater for the cold weather and Stage 6 load-shedding. That the fireplace and wash basin is outside. However it was only unfortunate as the weather was so cold and there was only a cold water tap available at the washbasin.

The setting was amazing, with enough fireplaces and heated blankets that meant not one of us was cold! The house is beautifully appointed and fully set up for power outages (if there are any). The thoughtful touches (lovely soaps, adapters in every room, torches and ice machine) were so lovely. A very cosy, affordable and comfortable place and the housekeeper was friendly and kept the place spotless. The short walk to the waterfall is gorgeous as well.

Location is private, clean and neat.

We could not enter the property (hanger hideout) as we did not receive the code for the gate keys. We had to phone around (cell phone signal poor) to try and get in. But we got hold of the relevant person eventually and all was good.

It is situated 10 minutes outside of the main street in Dullstroom, but the views are incredible - the scenery is just something else.

Nothing to dislike here!
