Mikrohyttene i Åkrafjorden

Very cute cabins overlooking a beautiful fjord. There’s a supermarket and cafe 2 mins walk up the hill and some great hikes/ sights nearby.

The cabins are very compact! Which was ok as a couple, but there was nowhere to put luggage or store anything. I wouldn’t recommend the cabins for more than 2 people, even if the third is a child as if you use the bed downstairs you’d have no spare space at all. The stairs were also very step and didn’t feel particularly safe, especially those to the roof top given how often it rains in Norway!

This place looks much much better in the photos than kn reality. Not clean. Dated rooms. Very uncomfortable with the second sleeping place - the kitchen table becomes a bed. Not enough place then to put chairs, to lay down the bed needs a lot of strength. a lot of places looks sloppy and not hiden, there is no feeling of a hight level stay. But the price is way way top much for this kind of the experience. Looks very messy and dirty. Did not mind that apartment is tiny, but really disapointed in general.

The views and setting were outstanding! Very private and the cabin was amazing
