Mikrohyttene i Åkrafjorden

The long, thin house was cute. There was a rooftop, a bedroom on the first floor with a long pillow in front of the window overviewing the fjord. The ground floor had a tiny but modern bathroom and toilet, a tiny kitchen and the table set up for 6 people with wool covers on the chairs. This table had to be converted to a bed later at night to sleep 2 people. There were instructions on how to convert the table and they were very clear. In the morning we pushed the bed back into the wall and a table could be detached again. You do need 2 persons to be able to do this. But it's not difficult. The kitchenette was also on the ground floor and was well equipped. We collected the key from the house just off the road at the cashier of a supermarket with lots of delicatesses. That's where we bought the food for the evening that we cooked in the tiny house. No need to go somewhere else because you better enjoy the stunning view from the tiny house. It also had a BBQ pit right in front of the fjord and a running river hidden behind the trees. Free parking in front of the house.

all perfect, except, google maps could not find the exact location as was given by the accomodation. We had to call the owner to get some instructions.

The room and the view is great, little quite and peaceful which we love. The whole micro home is yours and it is well equipped with kitchenette that you can cook. The bed is comfy and we have a great time. Along the way driving from Odda to the property is beautiful and you got to see the great waterfall spots on the way. You are required to check in at the Supermarket to get the key (the staff is very nice and helpful) and the map to the property.

Perhaps a drawing map to the property should be good as we got lost from the explanation how to get to the property and it took us a while to start over again.

Extremely friendly host in a beautiful location. I forgot my favorite jacket in the accomodation, but they made sure I got it back at home. Super!!!

Everything here are just perfect! The view, the cabin, the amenities. I just love everything about it. John himself greeted us for check-in and he is very kind. Everything went smooth and we highly recommend this cabin to everyone who wants to stop at Akrafjorden.

Amazing place, view. The price matched the quality. You can find everything you need in the kitchen.

Ideal for two people, but there would be little space for a larger group.
