Ugab Terrace Lodge

Best Hotel we had. The view is so nice. its quiet, you can enjoy the nature. The Enployees are very, very friendly, 10/10. very good food. can absolutely recommend!

What an amazing location! The beauty of the valley and mountain terraces is indescribable. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff made us feel welcome and at home. The rooms were comfortable with a rustic ambiance with 270-degree views. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast too. Next time we hope to work up enough courage for the zipline!

The renovations which were underway were a minor disturbance, otherwise no complaints at all.

Unfortunately, the price (compared to other lodges) is too high for what the lodge offers In a Malaria region we would have expected mosquito nets over the beds, we were stung quite a bit

Friendly staff , great breakfast and dinner . The cabins were spacious with stunning valley views from all aspects of the property . Sunset and sunrise were amazing. A steep drive up to the location added to the excitement of arriving !! Mosquito nets would have been a bonus as we did get quite a lot of bites during the night.

By far our favorite lodge in our last 6 weeks Namibia trip (not our first time in Namibia). Ugab Terrace is not after creating the "Out of Africa" experience of many other lodges. Instead it creates a real Southern African charm and comfort. Rustic, large chalets, emphasizing comfort and practicality. The large chalets, all have superb (and very unique) views, nice terraces, and decent distance from each other. The chalets are air-conditioned, and have ceiling and wall fans as well. All chalets have internet boosters, so you have WiFi in your chalet and terrace (and not only in the reception, as many other lodges). I am well aware of the comments regarding disconnecting while in Africa, but then, I prefer the right to choose how and when I want to disconnect. Great swimming pool and multiple public areas and gardens, in which you can always find shade and views. Food was good, and staff very accommodating about where would you have your meals (inside or outside or on one of the few terraces around the restaurant). Superb service complimented our lovely experience at the lodge. Our only serious mistake was that we have stayed there only one night. If we would have known the lodge before, we would have booked it for a longer stay.
