Cedar Lodge With Hot Tub

I've just returned from a lovely stay. The cottage was immaculate and equipped with anything you could need or want. Modern decor with lots of windows and light. Checkin took less than 2 minutes. The woman at the desk was friendly and welcoming. I was on my own but felt safe both in the lodge and on my morning walks around the park. The location is ideal, especially as it is close to Pocklington and not far from York. JJs restaurant is right there, which had great food and wonderful service. I will look forward to staying again in the future. Thank you. XX

The bed was not the best, as mattress is basically sofa bed quality. Mattress upgrade is the only suggestion, and if possible, have hairdryers on request for foreign visitors, as I was unable to use mine with the UK power outlet.

The beds were quite uncomfortable

Very nice cabins with hot tub. Plenty of space. Hot tub at the rear of cabin, which provided privacy. Local area nice for food drink and local walks in the rural area. Had a wonderful Sunday roast at JJ.s bar & restaurant situated near the main reception.

Nothing. Everything was spot on. 10 out of 10 from us. Looking forward to our next stay.

The lodge is located on a nice little plot close to the lake. Its nice and private. The grounds itself is nice and clean. The lodge was equipped with all of the essentials such as towels, cooking equipment and travel cot.

The lodge didn’t seem to be as clean as I would have hoped. Lots of cobwebs found around the lodge. The hot tub also didn’t appear to be the cleanest. When using the jets a lot of green scum would surround the tub. A lot of the time we would use a dish cloth to wipe it away. We also found pH strips at the bottom. It also said the hot tub was set at 40 degrees but it felt a lot colder than this therefore we didn’t really stay in it very long.
