"A good stay"

Comfortable and cool. The shower was good and beds comfortable. The bike storage was a real bonus.

We had a small issue with the sink upstairs as once the plug was down there was no way to release it again. Also the duvets were 13.5 tog in the middle of a heatwave. We didn’t know the unit had aircon and need £1 coins until we arrived and we didn’t have any!

"Perfect for a visit to the bike park and extremely clean and well appointed."

The location to bike park Wales was perfect. The bike storage was very reassuring. The cottage was extremely clean and well appointed.

Unfortunately the evening we were there the pub next door was closed which meant a wander down into town.

"A lovely little cottage in Troedyrhiw, Merthyr Tydfil"

Great little cottage, really comfortable. Down the road from Mountain Bike Wales🚲 lovely location on a quiet lane in Troedyrhiw, Merthyr. 40min from Cardiff, 10min from Merthyr. 25min from start of footpath for Penyfan.

They provided tea, coffee, sugar, milk and Welsh cakes, instructions were simple and it was nice and warm. Also the simple things like unlimited water is often appreciated as I live on a narrowboat.

No drainer for sink, but that thick towel thing worked and it gave us an excuse just to dry and put away straight away instead of air dry
