Waiheke Island Tawa Lodge - Adults Only

I booked this because it was cheap, but it really pleasantly surprised me. Stunning location with a view of the ocean, only a few minutes' walk to Little Oneroa beach which is gorgeous, and the room was really cosy with a sleeping loft. Lovely garden with tables for sitting in the sun or shade, and handy little kitchenette. Easy access with the bus too. Very helpful and responsive staff. Shared bathroom/toilet was always spotlessly clean.

When it was windy, the trees bashed against the roof of the sleeping loft - take earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

The relaxed clean and tidy facilities. I stayed here 10 years ago and the owner remembered me. Breakfast is self serve which was more than ample.

Beautiful beach views from my window. It has a steep hill to climb to the property so not for the faint hearted. Or use a taxi.

Lovely stay. Welcoming staff. Fab views. Nice brekky and plenty.

Dejligt sted, godt værelse, søde og hjælpsomme værter og personale.😘 Flot udsigt og rigeligt til morgenmad, så "what is not to like".. skønne strande nedad, og flere steder på øen. Tæt på Oneroa Village med butikker og spisesteder.. Gode offentlige busser, der dækker det halve af øen, men ikke yderpunkter og hele østsiden. De kører ofte og prisen for en tur er 2,80 NZ$ ×3,60 DKK. Jeg vil anbefale et AT HOP Card, der dækker hele Auckland regionen.

Stejl vej op og stejl indkørsel, men det er typisk Waiheke. Svært at forestille sig at man kan parkere på grunden.
