Staff was very nice. Location of hotel was excellent. It was 20 minutes walking distance to Playa Negra and less than 5 minutes walk to Parque Nacional. Also location was great for restaurants and bars. Ambience of property was nice. Every room had hammock available to be used. There is a shared kitchen area.

The room was not very nice at all, unfortunately. The shower was only cold water and toilet was not working properly. After a couple uses of the bathroom it made whole room smell very bad like port-a-potty. The room did not have AC but did include a fan. However fan was extremely loud and hard to have on because of loudness but needed to be on due to no AC. T.v. did not work in our room. The bed was okay. Could feel springs on back. They also offer laundry service for CRC 5.000. Pretty expensive considering the service was not good. Detergent was still on clothing after finished. And the washing machine broke so laundry service was not a service when we needed it. Parking area can fit at the most 6 vehicles.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location in town and close to the national park.

Cockroaches, mosquitoes, and other insects in the room. Mosquito covers on the windows but they are full of holes, and the windows would not close. The mattress was really worn, you could feel the springs through it. No hot water in the shower. The room and bathroom just generally felt quite grimey and dirty. Zero soundproofing and we had some screaming kids next to us which wasn't pleasant.

Very cleanny room and bathroom! Good place to visit the parc and the south of the coast!

There is not hamac when you’re in the dorm. So any chill place. What a pity…

Without a doubt, Palmer's is the perfect choice for a comfortable stay in Cahuita. Their cabins have great location in center of Cahuita with unbeatable charm of local architecture. Beatiful and well-maintained garden. The rooms, as well as the communal kitchen and dining areas, are simple but comfortable. The staff is very friendly.

There was no breakfast, but excellent coffee (gracias, Marcè) available all along the day. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Thanks a lot to Brii for trying to find solutions (I could go canoeing despite a broken ankle), to Shakleen an Marcé for their kindness

It would have been difficult to find a wheelchair, I couldn't walk much, but how about a "careta " as they have in Tortuguero? It could have many uses, ecological ones.
