It was a basic hotel with a shared kit hen which is good if you want to cook. Room was a bit warm for me with no A/C. Was close to beach and national park.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and had good knowledge about the area and transportation links. They offered free tea and coffee and had a nice communal area to sit in. There is air conditioning in the hallway which made the hallway cool, the room got quite hot but we were given a fan which helped

Our room was very small and windowless which felt claustrophobic. The door was slatted so didn't do well keeping noise or bugs out. At around midnight some guests arrived and were shown to their room by a very loud gentleman.

The location, customer service, the price. I also liked that they have a big common area where they offer coffee and tea for free... They also have table games to lend... Kids really enjoyed that. I truly recommend this place, it's not fancy, it's basic but they do offer an excellent service.

Very overpriced for what you get, more what you’d expect from a $15-20 room. There are much better options in and south of Puerto Viejo. Management wouldn’t allow us to shorten our stay after having a horrible sleepless night with a broken fan, despite giving 2 days notice.

Very nice place. I would go again. I stayed there in a private room with a friend who was visiting me in Costa Rica. Excellent location, nice shared kitchen, very nice areas to hang out, friendly staff. Overall I strongly recommend it for those on a low budget.

My only slight complain is that our private room had no window. But it was excellent value for money and had everything we needed.
