This accommodation for a person like me was ideal. I had the whole facility to myself and it perfectly suited my needs.

There was no hot-water while I was there however it didn't bother me. The other thing I had a back room, though if I had a front room, I wouldn't have enjoyed my stay the same, as the traffic noise was very loud at times.

Very central. Some restaurants and supermarkets in walking distance. Local beach is just next to the apartment.

The pick up and drop off to airport transportation offered by the accommodation didn't really worked well due to poor communication. I didn’t have shampoo in my bathroom. There isn’t enough electrical plugs in the room.

I had read a few bad reviews and was freaked out about staying here. Tried to find another place but it was too late. So was expecting a dive. I was very very pleasantly surprised. And I very much want to write a honest review. So here is a novel It’s simple and is the cheapest place on the island. So not fancy and it’s made clear in the booking info and also in the message you get when you book. It’s also close to everything. We stayed in two rooms. Both had comfortable beds and pillows and a blanket ontop of the wardrobe if needed. Which we needed a couple of nights. The bathroom was simple but had all we needed. And was clean. They supplied some toilet paper but we brought another packet. We didn’t message and ask for more. It didn’t cost much. The kitchen has all we needed to cook. A nice new wok and sharp knives and kettle and toaster. The rubbish we took downstairs to the blue bin. It is collected every Friday and a lady comes and puts it to the curb Thursday night. There was no rubbish around the property and it felt pretty clean The front door does lock for the evening from the inside but you do not get a front door key you get room keys. So you can lock your room if you go out. There is no wifi I could find to use and we went down to the cell phone place in town and brought a visitor sim which costs $55. And internet worked well from that. There are rosters -they are all over island so bring air plugs. There are stray dogs they were all very friendly we wanted to adopt some of them. They bark a little in morning and evening but a good shush and they quiten down It was a perfect place for us to stay not too fancy somewhere close to all we needed and we were left to ourselves. I had had to message the owners before arrival and make some changes to the booking they responded quickly and were very helpful. Niue is a small island and the people are friendly helpful and caring. It’s stunning both in the beauty around you and the people of Niue.

Well priced good location and

The location was fantastic.. crazy uga cafe a hop skip and jump from the front door for really good coffee .. whale watching at tomb point just a few steps further .. price was fantastic and fully made up for the things that were missing (hot water). We had a great stay and met some awesome people along the way.

For the price we paid we have no complaints .. you get what you pay for

The location was great but the downsides were the dogs barking all night which is I know a thing in Alofi then there is the raving roosters who like to strut around sometimes from 3am onwards ,so earplugs a must!

The house could do with a revamp especially the bathroom and the shower needs attention badly, was not expecting not having the option of hot water? Bed I had was fairly comfortable and the area we had to use was spacious. We got 1 towel each for the entire stay, would be good if there was a washing machine to at least have an option to wash towels @ tea towels. The general state of the property is in need of update and it did look fresher in the pictures.

Location was good

Hosts took three days to drop off toilet paper (meanwhile complaining about how expensive toilet paper was). They also didn’t drop off blankets on the cold nights after messaging them multiple times. They also didn’t inform us that there was no hot water at the property and didn’t offer a discount due to lack of hot water.

Not much, a place to sleep out of the rain...

No hot water, had been an ongoing issue for over month but owner didn't see fit alert anyone prior to arrival or after we got there... dilapidated conditions of building poor maintenance inside and outside. Exterior doors either didnt close or couldnt be secured. Steep narrow external stairs. No outdoor area for use. Exterior surroubed by rubbish and broken down facilities. Outdoor deck had rotted through and was roped off. Poor amenities inside. 1 toilet, 1 shower cubicle with low flow, low mounted broken shower head. Kitchen bench tacked to the wall, window frames rotted through so could open or closed louvers. Limited bedding, no blankets, limited cleaning, we ran out of basics regularly like toilet paper, washing up liquid, rubbish piling up before being cleared. Not value for money especially when there was no hot water and no prospect of that being resolved anytime soon.In addition given that for slightly more $ per night far better quality properties available nearby owned by people who actually cared about thier customers rather than just lip service . Poor communications, if any with owner or management'. The property did not meet the way it was advertised or promoted. No $$ spent on maintaining this place, just used as a money spinner.. Towards the end..I found somewhere else to stay nearby that was better value, was clean tidy and had hot water and good facilities inside and out

The fridge/freezer and the stove were working. The size of the living room was large. It was in a central location. If the price will be still $50 for 1 room spent the savings best in some of the happy hours.

There is still no hot water. I have asked around and it is possible to buy a califont in Nue. The Sun deck was rotten and you couldn't use it. Would be an easy fix. No outdoor chairs
