Wow. We are huge fans of the Gurkha Lodge. The brothers that run the place are so incredibly lovely. They were so helpful with all aspects of our stay including treks, buses, taxis. We stayed for much longer than expected because it was so nice. It’s a real hidden gem that quickly felt like home. The garden is stunning and it doesn’t really feel like you are in a city despite its central location. Hot showers available, Wi-Fi. We will definitely stay here again. A huge thank you to our friends at the Gurkha Lodge! See you again

Nothing it was fantastic

The staff at Gurkha Lodge are very kind and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and have everything you need, and the garden is lovely. I left my bag there for a four day trek and was happy to return to Gurkha Lodge for a rest after hiking.

It’s a bit of a walk to the lakeside, but it’s not f at and the neighborhood is nice.

Beautiful garden! Also good beds, always hot water and big breakfast with scrambled Eggs and toast.

Very nice people, great value for money!

very good location, the room is very nice with a small area outside in the garden where you can have breakfast and relax. it has hot water and everything you need for your stay. the staff is very friendly and can organize trips as well. Also, I'd recommend the you and I restaurant just close by to the hotel. I'd definetely recommend this accommodation.
