Owners are very friendly and helpful. Caring to make our stay very enjoyable.

When I booked a room at the Lodge, I was planning to check-in and then spend the day at the hot springs nearby but the volcano and lake view at the location was so stunningly beautiful that I could find no reason to leave. Our room was large and lovely with an incredible lake view, the hosts hospitable, the breakfast perfect. We only had soup and drinks in the evening but I imagine that the food is fantastic as everything else. I would definitely stay again.

Amazing views of the volcano and landscape, we loved the hot tub with the cold shower, the signature drinks at the bar and the staff is super friendly and attentive.

Our first test in any accommodation we spend the night in, is always about cleanliness and ‘lodge El Taique’ past with flying colours. Clean and nice smelling linen. The room was surprisingly large with a great view of the lake ( volcanoes too we told , but clouded when we visited). The friendliness and helpfulness of Audrée and Mickael made us feel very welcome. This haven is a wonderful place to relax and wind down or to use as a base. I wish we had stayed longer..

Loved the location. Our hosts were fabulous. Bedroom was lovely with a lake and volcano view.
