The room was pretty, welcoming service, adorable dog ! And nice life around in the street with locals.

We booked for a family homestay experience as advertised and this was more like a well-run small hotel . Extras were a bit expensive, we didn't experience them, but there was a lot of choice. Location is far from Sidemen and the trekking on rice terraces, you can't access by walk there so be careful, difficult to visit around if you don't have a scooter unfortunately.

This was a beautiful location. The people were so warm and caring. They took time to share local knowledge and experiences. We can not think more highly of them. Wonderful stay. This is a must for time to heal your spirit and soul. The yoga is a must. I was a first timer and am now a follower thanks to a very speacial young lady, the daughter of the owners. Pure magic. Thank you so much.

Pondok Masa Depan is a little piece of paradise lovingly created by Ayu & Bagus. They are so welcoming and accommodating. We instantly felt at ease and relaxed. The surroundings, amazing food and wellness activities were fantastic. Can't wait to come back.

Hosts Ayu & Bagus are so perfect in every way. Cooking class was exceptional. A wonderful experience staying with them to experience the real Bali.

Everything in this place breaths relaxation and tranquility and everything was perfect during our stay. If you want a place to relax, take care about yourself and enjoy a beautiful environment, this is the place to be! Everything we booked went perfectly: we asked for support to organize a driver from Padangbay to the guest house, we rented a scooter for a day via the guest house everything went smooth. During our stay everything was wonderful as well: everyone was extremely friendly, the food in the restaurant was lovely, we took nice yoga lessons and enjoyed the lovely massages. Definitely a huge recommendation and a big thanks to everyone of the family!

Nothing :) just as a little idea; the bathroom would be a bit nicer with some colourful details (e.g. a plant, some decoration). But this is just an idea and a very personal opinion.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the family host who made me feel instantly welcome. The room itself was a haven of comfort, clean, and cozy. The bed was incredibly cozy, offering a restful night’s sleep after days activity. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining. Pak Bagus served a delectable array of dishes, each one bursting with flavor and presented with artistic flair.

Firstly, Pondok Masa Depan accepts card payment (says cash only on Booking.com). The property is beautiful and situated away from the busy tourist areas of Bali. There are loads of activities on offer including cooking classes, massage, and yoga, but you can do as little or as much as you like here. Ayu, Bagus and Lakshmi were wonderful hosts. The food is amazing. It's a quiet haven and there are only a few guests at any one time. Definitely worth staying for a few nights (or more) if you're looking for an alternative to the busy tourist areas.

Ayu and her family were very friendly and kind, also very helpful. We had a lovely time. The vibe is amazing. We were delighted with our room. Also the food is amazing.

Everything was great.

The garden of the ground were stunning, all staff very welcoming and friendly. Food was great with a good menu for lunch and dinner. If you're looking for a very relaxed vibe then this is your place. Set just off the busy road surrounded by the local community, if you want to explore you will need a bike or to get taxis as there's nothing within walking distance. Very comfy bed in a very clean room. The owners offer some good activities that I'd recommend, really enjoyed the cooking class, massage and rice field trekking.

As you're in a rural setting surrounded by the local community noise starts very early on. You know you're staying in a rural area when booking so can't complain but I'd say if you're anything but a very deep sleeper I'd recommend ear plugs, these would help with noise from the road, dogs barking, local children, chickens and scooter reving that start around 4am. No aircon but there is a fan in the room, unfortunately the ceiling fan is too loud to have on. In our room the shower head couldn't be attached to the wall so you have to hold it when showing, small issue but slightly annoying. I'd say for Bali especially Sidemen the prices for activities are slightly higher than you'd expect but cooking class and massage were worth it. Maybe look at organising your own driver for the day as there are more competitive prices out there.
