Pondok Masa Depan

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Pondok Masa Depan. Ayu and Bagus were lovely and caring hosts. We even did a cooking class with Bagus which was lots of fun. The property is luscious and green and very private off the main road. They have a restaurant so you don't really need to leave at all however we found Sidemen to be very spaced out so if you're wanting to head over to the main part you will need a Scooter. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Very different from crowded areas like Ubud or Seminyak/Canggu. You can get even more in touch with the nature and have some quiet and relaxing time, with some yoga, massage, and wellness too! Very friendly, family run place where they greet you with “welcome home”. And this delicious mango juice!

This place is wonderful a real taste of Bali. The hosts Ayu & Bagus with their family make you so welcome. We had the sound healing which you also have a traditional blessing it was amazing. Take an early trip to the temple and join in with the prayers Ayu will dress you for the occasion it was so much better than just taking photos. Ayu explains everything also. We also visited the children learning the traditional music and dance close by which you must do as you can join in it was great fun. The lady who runs it was wonderful. Would definitely recommend a stay in the jungle. Plus Bagus is a trained chef so we ate every meal with them which was fabulous we also had a cooking lesson! Worth every penny an unforgettable experience 🙏

Nothing not to like, it's basic but clean and comfortable.

Ayu and Bogus were excellent hosts. Ayu’s kindness and Bogus’ food made our stay perfect and we felt like at home.

The property was a bit hidden so if you are planning to be picked using any taxi app it will not work. In our case, Ayu called her brother who kindly offered us a ride to get to our boat in Padang bai. There are also local taxis to consider.

Beautiful jungle cottages managed by wonderful, kind people. Amazing gourmet food and authentic cultural experiences with massages, traditional healing ceremonies, cooking classes and immersion into Balinese village life. You really need to visit in person since words cannot convey totality of healing experience of being here:)

The combination of healing, amazing food und the lovely and kind energy of the place and the family. I could relax, nourish myself in combination of the treatments and food. The place is so peaceful and my bungalow was really comfortable and cozy. I booked my room for the next month - again! Perfect place for healing and relaxing.

Bagus and his family were the most friendly hosts we had on our trip. Dinner prepared by Bagus was excellent. Room was clean and cosy.
