The staff were very interested in helping us. Pool lovely and the guests very friendly Food exceptional and freshly cooked. Dinner as well as breakfast

The broken wall lamp shade that was ceramic and had sharp broken bits, broken coat hook and the worst was the lumps of brown deposits left on the hose next to the toilet. Even if this was not human excrement, it was not nice to be next to it. Ants are expected but they were crawling around on the hose I mentioned.

We zijn hier 4 nachten geweest. Het is een gezellig familiebedrijfje gerund door vader, zoon en dochter. De dochter kookt en bakt heerlijk, vader wist vele leuke uitjes te verzinnen. Zo hebben we embossing bij de buurman gedaan. Dochter en moeder gaven ons spontaan een cookingclass Rice and curry. Er is een heerlijk zwembad bij in een groene tuin. De kamers zijn prima, de badkamer gedateerd maar alles werkte. We hebben ons heel welkom gevoeld en een fijn verblijf gehad

Unforgettable experience- because of the people. This family is so kind and sweet. I felt like a part of the family. They accompanied me on my safari trip and hikes. Malithi is such a great cook, dinner was amazing! Pool was really nice with jungle vibes. Thank you Malithi and the whole family ❤️

El personal es muy amable, el desayuno es increíble, casero, abundante y variado, la piscina está muy bien e incluso te dan toallas de baño. Cenamos y comimos en el alojamiento y fue la mejor decisión, probamos la mejor comida local hasta ahora.

El agua no salía muy caliente

Die Anlage ist sehr schön in der Natur gelegen und die Menschen waren herzlich und haben sich sehr um uns bemüht. Wir waren nur eine Nacht da. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet uns köstlich. Wir können den Aufenthalt wirklich empfehlen.

Bei dieser Unterkunft, die außerhalb von Sigiria liegt, fragen wir uns, wer hat alle die guten Bewertungen abgegeben. Das Personal ist wie immer in Sri Lanka sehr freundlich, das Fühstück ok. Die Zimmer sind nicht richtig eingerichtet, etwas abgewohnt.

A Wonderful Stay – Excellent Value for Money We had such a lovely stay at Isanka Lion Lodge. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel incredibly welcome. They are genuinely kind, helpful and attentive, always happy to assist with anything we needed. It really feels like staying with people who care about their guests. The breakfast was a real highlight – a delicious banquet each morning, beautifully prepared and plentiful. Such a treat to start the day. The accommodation itself is simple, but very comfortable. The bed and pillows were great, and we slept really well. Everything was clean and well looked after. For the price, this place is exceptional value for money. We honestly cannot say a bad word about it and would happily stay again. Highly recommended 😊
