Beautiful place. Wonderful people.

No tv in the room. No hair dryer in the room.

Peaceful setting

- Dogs running wild. One ran after my daughter. Gave her the fright of her life. - Stingy with food and toiletries. Asked for extra shower gel. Was told that we're only allowed one small bottle for each room. We were two adults staying for 2 nights.

The food was excellent snd the staff and service exceptional

The rooms are a tad basic and the main road to the property not great

Staff in general were very friendly, they were always eager to help . Beds are amazing. Fire place in the main reception was fantastic. Hot water bottles were provided. Massages were nice . Food was well presented in the evenings , but if you didn’t like something , that could be a problem.

Whilst the food was good, may not be for everyone. Knowing children would be there no food really catered for them. Would be nice to have your own kettle and coffee in your own room for the mornings. We had a burst/leaking pipe which must of been there before as one could see on the floor and ceilings. Maybe a small play area for children would be nice. Heard one server being shouted at a few times and thought that unnecessary. Game drives were ok, not too much to see but we got too see a few things. If you go in summer you may have to take a fan as No aircon. Whilst I appreciate it being dog friendly (owner and staff dogs were great) a few yapping dogs could distract from the peace and quiet.

The food was amazing, from breakfast to dinner and dessert, the best. The restaurant is neat and beautiful, the staff is friendly and warm, we had the best weekend. I am telling my colleagues about Waterberg Game Lodge, they must visit.

Everything for us was top tier, I am happy.

Breakfast was good, would have been nice to have a different breakfast the two mornings we ate there. Variety is important. Dinner on the other hand, a solid 10/10
