The grounds and garden are stunning. The host/owner (Robin) is welcoming and helpful, and full of insight. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and some of the best coffee we have had on our trip.

We found the check-in time a little restrictive as our itinerary is jam-packed, and we had to cut our plans to meet the early deadline (most other places have allowed us to arrive later in the evening). The beds are not as high quality as we typically like... But the pillows were great, and we both slept well. There is no air conditioning, and it was a warm night, so we left the windows open... Which attracted numerous moths. (I still scratch my head at NZ lack of screens!)

Beautiful space indoor and out. There are wonderful paths outside and lovely decor inside. Our breakfast was phenomenal and our host most informative and pleasant.

The bathroom was separate from our room, but it’s really not a complaint. It was directly across the hall. Just an FYI for guests.

The breakfast I had was one of the most delicious I have ever had. The host was so helpful and friendly,a genuinely nice person. definitely recommend staying here ,everything was immaculate. Made to feel welcome, bringing wife back here next year. can’t recommend it enough.

Cooker a bit dated and not many TV choices

Luxury characterful B&B with friendly and helpful host (Robin). Quiet location despite being just off the main road and only a few minutes drive from Greymouth. Comfortable room with nice views. Great shared lounge. Wonderful cooked breakfast.

Nothing negative that I can think of, it was wonderful.
