Villa Ceiba

The owner was waiting for us with keys. He doesnot speak english, but we have managed everything, including instructions for washmaschine :-) The house is spacious, clean and it has beautiful garden with hummingbirds. Kitchen is good equiped.

I do not like throwing used toilet paper to waste bin, but it seems like common duty in CostaRica.

I loved everything and didn't want to leave. The rooms were a good size, it was immaculate with everything we needed. I loved sitting in the garden which was full of plants and birds. It was really quiet at night.

One ac unit pump was very noisy, but we could turn it off at night because the weather was cool.

Un verdadero paraíso y una hermosa y muy bien ubicada casa….Solo una cordial observación, buena parte de las atracciones de La Fortuna tienen que ver con Agua, largas caminatas y el barro de las cuatri motos…. Deben poner más de 4 toallas pues su uso es recurrente.

The house is beautiful and quiet with a nice garden. Safe area .Great view of the Arenal volcano when it is not raining.Second day was foggy .It was spacious enough for our family! Host Fabio was very helpful! Didnt find any fruits like mentioned, may be because of the monsoon season. But he sent us links where we can buy fruits .overall happy.really enjoyed the quiet stay！

Kitchen could be little bit more stocked.only big pans, no bowls or spices, just coffee salt and sugar. Laundry was very old fashioned. Drier just squeezed water out. Clothes didn’t get dry. It was raining heavily so drying clothes were difficult .

My family and I enjoyed our stay here immensely! It was just outside of Fortuna (7 min drive), which was perfect for us, because we got to enjoy the city, while also having privacy. The house is located on an unpaved road, which is perfect for walking and enjoying the wildlife. We saw SO many birds! Coffee on the porch in the morning was my favorite, because we saw birds playing, making noise and enjoying their day. The host was responsive and helpful!

My husband and I absolutely loved our time at Villa Ceiba! Fabio greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the house. We had the entire place to ourselves. The gardens are stunning with such a wide variety of plants. The property is peaceful and private. The bed was comfy, A/C in the bedrooms was great, the kitchen had all we needed, we used the washing machine and the clothes line. Villa Ceiba is a real gem. Fabio is a very responsive, friendly, gracious host and gave us information/links to activities, restaurants and places to swim in the area. We highly recommend Villa Ceiba and would definitely stay here again!

Had the entire villa. It was like a small home. Grounds were stupendous. Beautiful trees, bushes that drew many types of birds. Just lovely. Used washer. Used kitchen for breakfast.

Very quiet, beautiful yard with lots of bird activity in the morning. Presence of cooking amenities, laundry facilities, comfortable beds. Excellent location near La Fortuna without having to deal with tourists. Good coffee at nearby Sloth's Territory.

Excellent host ( thank you Fabio!!) + facilities, so tranquil beautiful garden, privilege to see Toucans, Humming birds + lots of interesting wildlife , ideal location to travel to key sights, highly recommend!

Beautiful property, enjoyed seeing many different types of birds. Quiet location, and close to a lovely river to cool off on hot days. Muchas gracias por todo Fabio. <3 <3
