Suites Chile Verde

The location is great, it's a short walk to the beach and in a nice and quiet area. Our room was very spacious with aircon, a fan and mosquito net around the bed. We would definitely stay again.

There is no reception area, so it is confusing where to go when you arrive and how to check in. We walked around looking for someone and waiting for 30min before someone came. However, I booked our room a few hours before we arrived and couldn't check my phone for messages, so the communication on my arrival was bad from my end. A reception/check in area would be helpful for guests.

Giant veranda and two lovely bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. Parking on site. You are located about 5 mins walk from the beach. There are a number of shops and restaurants, although they aren't open as long or late as busier towns in the area. It's fairly easy to get to the much busier Puerto Viejo (12k away and taxis can be arranged) if you want something more lively in the evening, but this place is lovely and relaxed. A real local vibe. Plenty of wildlife and a relaxed pace of life.

Alda was extremely helpful, she received us at the entrance and welcomed us warm - heartedly. The room is absolutely cozy, chilling with a well functioning Aircon and mosquito nets above the beds which are canopy beds. They perfectly blend into the Costa Rican style and make you feel very comfortable and relaxed. There is no noise from the street. You can just hear the crickets chirping, very romantic. In total, I would highly recommend to everyone staying here. This was the best place we have stayed at in Costa Rica.

Good location with private parking area and easy access to the beach. Air conditioning was effective, and much needed in the two-bedroom suite on the lower level that we were assigned. The private kitchen area included a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and coffee maker which were appreciated, along with the kitchen utensils. A gas stove-top unit was also provided.

The private kitchen area for this unit was on a porch which, of course, was not air conditioned. Although a large ceiling fan was provided, the fan was inoperable, making this area of little use during the day due to the extreme heat. The Wi-Fi turned out to be unreliable. Also, Booking.com needs to state more clearly what the final cost of the rental will be, including taxes and cleaning charges. The required cash payment is much less convenient than payment by credit card, and may discourage some potential clients.
