Location, security, spacious.

Needs repairs and general maintenance. Accumulated debris is an eyesore. Washer and dryer are in a difficult spot with water flowing on the ground. Impossible to do laundry late in the day due to abundance of mosquitoes. We requested a refund for the last day of our stay due to a change of plans due to a medical condition, and it came conditional upon a good review. Not good business and it made for a sad experience in the end. Never got the refund ($14) and we will not return.

Location and comfort

Nice room, common kitchen has great equipment, very calm town Manzanillo, very friendly staff

Only downside is that it is quite far to get to puerto viejo if you want to go out for food, not the accommodations fault obviously, if you’re just looking for a stay in a calm town by the coast this is a great place to stay at

Location is great. The room was very spacious, and there're supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Plus the beach is only 1 block away

The room smelled very moldy, the bathroom sink leaked, the coffee machine is broken, there weren't enough towels for all of us, we requested extras 5 minutes after checking in, but only arrived the next day.....

The location

They offered you something through booking, once we were there, they told us that our room was occupied, they put us in a room that costs less than we paid, the next day they gave us another room that it was not what we were waiting since we paid for something different, they preferred to have our room to some European people, we felt that we were discriminating for being locals by them that they were locals too, the worst experience ever
