Villas y Apartamentos El Sultan

I have stayed in many similar apartment in Fuerteventura and this was as good as any. It was on the outskirts of town which was OK and perfect for Las Dunas area and beaches but 15 min walk from centre so a trade off. It was clean , tidy and well equipped. The management were very helpful and friendly.

In common with most apartments wherever you go it is the simple details that tend to be lacking like a pair of scissors, a big spoon or a decent knife

Large property with comfortable beds. Nice pool area. Decent location, with a lovely park across the road.

Although the kitchen was well equipped the oven had only one grill tray (without the wire rack) and no shelves in it. This meant it took a while to cook anything and cooking a pizza impossible! The property we were in didn’t really get much sun - only the roof terrace for a few hours, so it seemed dark inside. The shutters were a pain and took a while to get the knack of pulling up / down when we went out. Having to carry the sun loungers from the roof terrace down all the stairs to the pool on the first day seemed crazy. You could leave them by the pool for the duration then take them back on departure but it meant then there was not enough sun loungers on the roof terrace if you wanted to sunbathe there. It did look like everyone had to do the same thing though. Surprisingly no recycling bins in the complex, just one large skip for all the rubbish to go into.

Holiday was just what we wanted, a little out of the main area but a nice walk in with close amenities 2 mins away. Staff and instructions very clear, great communication. Home from home.

Nothing not to like apart from no shady area from the wind on rooftop. Would need more hangers if here longer than a week or more than 2 of us but thats not a complaint i would of bought some.

The apartment was excellent with the beds very comfortable and the shower giving plenty of hot water with a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. We didn't use the pool as it was very cold and windy but the area around had sun beds available

The only access to outside space in the apartment is via the solarium and although very well equipped with sun beds table and chairs it is Very windy and accessibility is back outside the main door and up another two flights of stairs. This apartment would not be suitable for people with mobility problems as it is up three flights of stairs

It was peaceful & private, clean. Great location.

No kitchen utensils. No extractor fan in the toilet. Lack of pillows.
