We stayed at El Sultan for 5 weeks over November and December and enjoyed our visit. One of the best things about this setting is that it provides a good selection of shops and restaurants within easy reach and the main shopping and entertainment thoroughfare of Corralejo is within walking distance. Close to El Sultan, on the main road are bars, a pizza restaurant and some very good cafes. There is also a smaller Hipo Supermarket Express, which is very handy. At 5-10 minutes walk is the Campanario Centre with a very good selection of cafes and restaurants. There is also a large supermarket. It is very easy to get to the main shopping at Corralejo by foot, but if you need a taxi, there is a taxi rank very close by. The El Sultan setting is well kept, clean and in our experience secure. Our villa seemed small on the outside, but when you enter, the living areas are very large. There is a combined living/dining/ kitchen area on the first floor; a bathroom with a washing machine and shower; and a large bedroom leading to a sheltered courtyard at the back. There is a sitting area in front of the villa. On the second landing is a shower room and two large bedrooms with a double bed in one which leads out to a patio area. From the patio area there are stairs leading to a large solarium. For our visit, in November, there was little sun on the front, and only occasionally some in the back courtyard. However, we had continuous sun from around 09.00 to 17.00 on the solarium. The house was clean and actually easy to keep clean. The furniture generally is in good condition with a large comfortable leather sofa and a leather armchair in the living room for relaxing in front of a large Smart tv. The kitchen area is adequate, with a four hob cooker and clean oven; dishwasher and a good big fridge and freezer. There is a combination microwave, kettle, filter coffee machine and toaster.

Maybe if you are a larger group you might need more living room furniture. The outside furniture on the upstairs patio needs to be replaced. The shower upstairs seemed that it might overflow. It took a very long time to drain so you are standing in water. Some better glasses might have been a good addition. Some of the fridge shelves were broken.

Everything-location of the complex,short stroll from the centre, permanent residents in complex are super friendly, water in swimming pool is fantastic!

Nothing really

The roof terrace was great. I liked the quieter location but still having plenty of things around (close to the supermarkets). Regularly taking the walk along the beach to Correlejo was nice.

For self catered accomodation the supplied utensils/pans/cookware was minimal

Location just a nice distance away from main strum No noise. Very private complex

If I was to pic a fault it would only have to be there were no communal loungers at pool. Although I could of requested for them to be placed at pool. However sun Terrace was perfect and private.

Space indoor and outdoor more than adequate for up to 4 people . Close to most amenities

Garden furniture needs replacing
