Birches Cottage & the Willows Garden Room

Elsabe and Huck were very friendly hosts, they even gave us a coupon for breakfast in their own lunchroom! The cottage was very nice and even had elektrical blankets! Lots of space and there is a walking path down to the river next to the cottage.

There was no wifi and during loadshedding the cottage got quite cold. The road to the cottage was a gravel road but it was no problem driving on it with our Toyota Starlet.

The complementary breakfast was excellent. Beautiful environment.

We enjoyed our stay, however the heating facility in our room was inadequate. We went there to enjoy the cold, but would of liked to have our room comfortably heated.

I really love the location and the hike trails are just relaxing and private which is what we were looking for. Great hospitality and really enjoyed the breakfast. It was a great experience all together

Nice setup, quiet, and wonderful hosts. Great communication prior to arriving and also very friendly reception.

Perhaps backup power would be great given that loadshedding is here to stay.

Birches cottage is set in beautiful surroundings and the owners have thought of everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

The hiking trails were sublime and views were breathtaking.

The help could have come on time to assist with clean up as specified on the schedule. The load and water shedding times were long stretches but that is not the fault of the owners.
