The location was perfect being so close to the beach and small shopping centre all within a few minutes walk with a great range of restaurants and cafes only a short drive away. The accommodation was perfect for 2 people. Lovely touch with the fresh muffins (delicious) bread, milk, juice and cereals. Also lots of information provided about things to do and see which was helpful. Would recommend.

"Our first touch of Paradise"

After a long journey from the UK this was our first stop on our five week tour. The drive here from Melbourne was long enough to cope and the quietness of our surroundings was much appreciated. The Gallery is so spacious it was more like renting a whole house. The finish and details were superb and there was great attention to detail here. A very comfortable bed awaited us and this too was appreciated.

We couldn’t stay longer!

The location is quite good. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are of good size. Good selection of movies, games, etc.

Cooking is too limited; you can only cook outside on a BBQ in the open. The accommodation is advertised as breakfast included. This term can lead you to think that there will be dinning area with options to select etc. However, what they offer is some supplies available in the room that you can have for breakfast: milk, juice, cereals, bread, muffins, and spreads (butter, honey, etc). Even though the whole building and rooms are of an exquisite taste (art everywhere, very fine architecture and features), it didn't feel to me like beach accommodation. It's very comfortable but doesn't have "beach vibes" (of course, this is a very personal opinion based on our likings).

Exceptional stay in McCrae, beautiful setting and lodgings with bonus of short walking distance to scenic beach and local coffee shop. Clean and peaceful (even on New Years Eve!). Breakfast was generous with cereals, spreads and toast. The muffins were delicious on arrival! Very friendly kind hosts.
