The Gallery Accommodation McCrae

The Gallery is the loveliest place, very cozy, tastefully decorated and filled with beautiful artwork. The beds are very comfortable. Generous continental breakfast supplies with fresh muffins and sourdough. A kitchenette with a microwave and toaster, was completely enough for our needs. Location can't be beaten - a quiet court within 2 min walk to the local shopping centre, 5 min walk to a shallow beach perfect for young kids, a short drive to many other bay and ocean beaches. David and Sue are welcoming and responsive hosts. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to be back one day.

Great location, everything you could need. Lovely touches with milk and juice, bread and spreads along with cereals and received some homemade delicious muffins. Beds were comfy, streaming services to watch and surrounded by lovely art.

the ambience was elevated- Gallery gave VIP feel. The accomodation smelled beautiful- set the tone for the stay. The furniture was cosy. Special note how comfortable the beddings were. The pillows were standout. Breakfast included was convinient. Top marks for home made muffins delivered to our front door by our thoughtful hosts.

the outdoor furniture was dirty. bugs and mozzies eveywhere- could have been a nice place to hang out in. Supplied bug spray was nice but the mozzies and crawlies were relentless. Not a big issue since inside accomodation was lovely.

Onsite hosts David and Sue were exceptional. We were a family trio of plus 80 and we were able to easily walk to the nearby shops. Breakfast provisions were more than adequate. It was a very relaxing stay in the beautiful Gallery in McCrae. Highly recommended.

It felt warm and inviting the moment we arrived. I loved the sweet touch of the muffin and sourdough bread, so thoughtful. There was an issue with the blind in the room & it was fixed straight away after it was pointed it out. Everything was perfect.

The only concern was being unable to lock the door to the rooms when leaving, which felt a little insecure. Otherwise, the stay was excellent.

The Gallery was lovely, beautiful art work, lovely garden, hydronic heating the best! And the home made muffins at at door a delightful & delicious treat!

Beautiful place. Clean, comfy, really nicely decorated and has everything you need for a weekend away. Feels tranquil, while still being conveniently located to everything including the beach and the supermarket.

Breakfast is continental style, very nice sourdough white bread, 3 different types of cereals, jams & butter, tea & coffee bags; plus a big bottle of milk and mango juice in the fridge. The whole place is elegant, modern, and clean, very roomy. The garden is beautiful, nice quiet cul-de-sac; there is a local shopping complex and petrol station right next to the road leading to the house, very convenient. Good location to access the beaches, Sorrento, Hot Springs, and Mornington Peninsula. Great value and highly recommended!
