Daffodil Lodge

Good size, plenty of room, comfortable beds and living space. Parking available.

Due to the weather the decking outside the door was slippy. Not the fault of the owner.

It was so welcoming, very clean and so beautiful. Everything was covered and we were so at home. We loved this little lodge.

The stepping stones were a bit slippery when it rained.

the property was fantastic, lovely little lodge and a home from home.

nothing, just what we needed

Stunning location, cabin was well equipped, warm and cozy, considering it snowed nearly everyday!! Loved watching the pheasants and birds and a red kite swooping on prey in the open space. Great space to be able to walk the dog and she loved playing in the river.

Few little issues nothing major. Toilet seat was loose and moved, bathroom sink was loose, shower head wouldn't stay up. Cooker could do with a clean and the frying pans could do with replacing.

The owner was very contactable, polite, and friendly. The lodge is beautiful and set in a beautiful park. Ideally located to explore mid Wales. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return.

Breakfast was not included as it was self catering. Location was great. Great size lodge and warm.

If we had to use the sofa bed we would of asked for it to be cleaned couldn't sit on it as it was stinking of dog. Fair enough we have dogs of our own but the smell was very strong. Also the park wardens twice they practically jumped out on us for saying we were going to fast. we stuck to the speed limit but think the way they went on was a bit excessive. also the warning of what you could travel in i.e pickup transit etc should of been well noted before hand many people travel in pickups now. And we could tell what this was aimed at travellers. WE may be travellers but we work and shouldn't be penalised for our transport.
