Not a great deal

Needs a major clean, smelt musky like old wet dogs, on the surface looked okay but there was a smell which wasn’t pleasant throughout the stay. Oven was filthy, sofa was old and uncomfortable. For the price way over priced and wish we had never booked or stayed, Hair in the fridge, which was horrendous Hole in the wall with exposed pipe work owner refunded a night stay after I complained after we left.

Cosy cabin, perfect for a short stay. Heats up really quickly so we were quite toasty on such a chilly weekend. For the price very good value.

Some milk in the fridge and shower gel and shampoo would have been a welcome addition (we had the latter but forgot to bring milk!). We had family members staying in other cabins who had these items for similar cost (about £20 more).

Fabulous location with lots of wild rabbits on the site

The property could have used a deep clean. On the surface it was lovely. Be aware of the site manager speed limit 5mph and he will confront you.

The location was great. The park was peaceful, close to a river. It was possible to walk into Builth Wells; nice walks close-by.

The lodge was 'tired' and not very clean. There were seeds and hairs down the side of the sofa. It could do with a lick of paint inside and out. The warden was unfriendly.

Everything was very good, well equipped and clean. Location outstanding
