Sunrise of Tambopata

Amazing place right at Tambopata river. The hosts - Emanuel and Maricela, the kids and the parrot Antonia 🙂, are the best possible hosts. Always smiling, helpful, paying attention to every small detail. Emanuel cooked for us and the food was fresh from their farm. He also organized all our tours in the jungle. The huts at the river are very cute, with terraces, bathrooms, comfortable beds from which you have a direct view to the river day and night. Every day the hosts were cleaning. Thank you, Emanuel and Maricela!!! Muchas gracias! Nos vemos pronto!

This was one of the best experiences of my life. Imagine waking up with an incredible view of the river while listening to the sounds of the amazon forest and being served fresh juice from tropical fruit. Doesn’t get better than that! The cabins were pristinely clean, we had a nice hot shower, and got to go on many of the adventures offered by the property such as the amazon night walk where we saw a sloth and piranha fishing where we saw a cayman! It was so fun! The owners are a wonderful family, so kind and helpful. You can buy lunch and dinner there, and honestly their cooking was so good that we never wanted to eat out. 10/10 experience!

The location is incredible, right on the river. And the host, Emanuel, and his family are warm and welcoming. They go above and beyond to treat you like family.

Interesting very clean cabins near the river. Wonderful hosts who are extremely helpful. Fresh eggs from their own chickens with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Minor things: WiFi was weak at times. Bathrooms need hooks or shelves to put toiletries and towels. Lighting in room and bathroom was weak. But after all, we were on the edge of the Amazon!

The accommodation has everything you need. The host family was very helpful with everything such as booking tours, taxis, meals etc. They made us feel right at home in the jungle. We even saw a sloth, monkeys and macaws very close to our lodge!

It was a wonderful place to stay for a few nights on the Rio. Manuel and his family were fantastic and very helpful. Having a home-cooked supper each night was fantastic. Great view and a great place to get away from it all.
