Marshlands Lakeside Nature Retreat

Great location right by a lake, peaceful, but within walking distance of the town. Lots of feathered friends and animals. Everything you need was there, including towels, sheets, soap, cleaning products etc.

It was all great.

First of all I travel a lot and do loads of reviews which are always honest and to the point .I absolutely loved this place it is truly a little Gem and a must for nature lovers . First of all is I liked the early check in 2 0 clock most places are 4 now days. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and will explain everything to you . When we first got there we could not believe we was greated by Molly the dog and hens ducks and more all walked with us to our caravan .Unfortunately for us the weather was shocking arrived after a thunderstorm and the ground was so wet and all I wanted to do was sit out and enjoy the views and watch the wildlife did this put me off 😀 no it didn't. The owners provided bird seeds and binoculars which was lovely 😍. The caravans is not top of the range but is very clean and comfortable with large windows so you can look.out at the views .Beds where so comfy and all bedding provided and I found a fleece throw to use as it got colder on the evening .Loads of cleaning stuff and also coffee and sugar provided .It was a wet night so we decided to watch a dvd which there was hundreds to choice from .All In all I would recommend this place to anyone .Me and my hubby will definitely be booking again and hopefully we will get some nice weather .ps noticed there was a bbq to use there too 😋. Well done to the hosts for sharing there beauifull home with us holiday makers .

Location was excellent, no traffic noise, beautiful views and plenty room and equipment and for children to play with

A little cramped but not to the degree it was uncomfortable
