Moon Forest Apartments

Excellent place. Nice little appartment. The kids played soccer wit the dog, and the dog won.

No downside, there should be more accommodation in this price category in CR.

Lovely setting, very clean. Spacious enough. Owner well organised and helpful. Small supermarket and a few (bit pricey but nice) restaurants nearby so don't have to walk or drive into town. Parking.

Kitchenette could have a couple more items e.g. a kettle, not just a coffee machine, another saucepan as there's only one and a frying pan. A few more hooks to hang (wet) things would be useful. But otherwise it's a good value place to stay.

Short walk one way to a very useful shop, short walk the other way to a lovely nature reserve. Forest 3 feet from the balcony - loved it.

WiFi dropped out quite often.

Paulo was a wonderful host. It was great to be in the middle of nature!

The kitchen had no scrubbing tools for cleaning dishes. And there were no napkins.

Great location. Felt like being in a treehouse.

Wish there had been a little coffee available, but that’s the only complaint.

Moon forest is in a beautiful location and really good value for money .We saw so many amazing birds and wildlife from the balcony including coatis and agoutis. It right near the butterfly gardens and a good base to explore the cloud forests.

Well positioned on edge of town so nice and quiet. Property well appointed with kitchen, dining and seating area as well as bedrooms and comfortable beds. Easy walk to a few restaurant / bars and store and a bit further down the road there is a private eco park which had we found out sooner we would have tried.

We had a first floor apartment with balcony and seats which was nice. Only downside is that my wife would have liked more of a view as the balcony backed directly onto to forest, although that was good for bird spotting.
