If you are going directly to the Viking Lodge located around Pistolet Bay: On the Viking 430 road leading to St. Anthony or Corner Brook, take the branch leading to Cooks Harbor (Highway 435), and then take the next road to your right and you will see the Lodge. If you are having trouble finding Viking Lodge, go to the main office, Burnt Cape Cabins in Raleigh and they will show you the way.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Don't miss the Vikings!"

The cabins are in a beautuful spot and the kitchens are fully eqipped and coffee is provided. It was easy to turn up the heat. The two rooms are nicely furnished. The vikings are worth it.

There is no prepared food for at least 15 miles. The town of Raleigh shuts down for the winter around oct 1. It is about 30 miles to the viking exhibits as there is no road across the peninsula. We did have very good food in st anthony and the other side of the penisuls.

Very clean, lots of room, comfy beds.

No fault of the property owners, but you have to drive half an hour (and then back) to find something to eat.
