Burnt Cape Cabins

Great location, very close to the ecological reserve and Icebergs were just outside the harbour less than 1 mile away.

It was a bit of a drive to get to St Anthony but aamzing countryside. Also, the location is likely closer to Lanse Aux Meadows than if we had stayed in St Anthony.

What a gem. We really enjoyed it. The cabin was well appointed. Very comfortable. We could see staying there again. We were even lucky to have a couple of icebergs in the bay. The fresh flowers I our cabin was a really nice touch and it was appreciated very much.

It is far for dining out and we were not prepared for that. But it was ok, we made it work. The convenience store was not open but again, no biggie.

Location along the beach front was excellent. The view of the small bay and opposite shore were also very , very good. The layout of the cabin and available space were/are user friendly comfortable. The shower was top notch, with plenty of pressure and hot water. The stove, fridge , table and wooden chairs are functional. Coffee maker, toaster and kettle met our needs

The old couch was shedding its synthetic covering in little black flakes, that stuck to the cloth throw covers. The wi-fi and internet access was very poor. The owners son did try to fix the problem, but the system just does not have the capacity to provide for the requirements. When asked to provide access PIN numbers and passwords there was confusion or we were Tod to use our own access pis. When booking this facility I specifically asked if I would be able to see the Hockey Playoffs - the answer was "YES" Well I was not able to access the WI-fi - either through the service provided or my own telephone da

We stayed in the house on the property and it was a beautiful stay. You can tell the property was furnished for comfort. From the placement of the electrical outlets to the roomy bathroom to the most comfortable mattresses in the world, I wanted for nothing during my stay. I really hope I get the chance to return. It was the most restful and comfortable stay I've ever had while traveling.
