Burnt Cape Cabins

Location was lovely and close to the attractions we wished to visit.

The roads are bumpy and full of potholes but manageable with good tires and going slow.

The lock on the door needs to be a bolt lock as it was windy and it was tricky to lock

I had booked a cabin and when I arrived to register I was told my cabin was a travel trailer. They had overbooked and they decided that opening up a travel trailer would be sufficient. Damp, dirty and musty. Steps were rotten and weeds growing up through the steps, grass had not been cut. Horrible experience. Never again from that place.

I liked not one thing about this place. When I contacted the owner, “ Ted”, he was not happy with the way I talked to him on the phone which was his opinion, and ok, I will take ownership of not being happy. He was eating his supper and was also upset that I was interrupting his meal. For that I apologized for. The only reimbursement or reason for my non cabin was that it was the fault of Booking.com. So as a result I wasted over 600 dollars. So Ted and his businesses as well as Booking.com will not make another dollar off me. It’s minuscule I know, and they don’t care, but this is a forum to address opinions and experience so this is mine. On the bright side I walked next door and was greeted with sunshine, and was rented an amazing place to stay.

Very comfortable cottages with awesome location; remote, quiet, cozy.

Very clean, great location, nice view. Easy check in and check out.

Needs new frying pan.

Beautiful, serene location. The kitchen is stocked to prepare meals. Ceiling fans available on all rooms- very helpful on summertime. Convenient store in front of the property.

We did not have the cabin with a water view as shown on the website. The inconvenience of boiling the water. No restaurant around town.
