The view is spectacular and you can see animals in the savanna from there. The hotel is lovely and well maintained. All members of staff are extremely friendly and professional. The room service is exceptional and the food at the restaurant delicious. Staying there definitely contributed to an unforgettable stay in the Mara !

The setting itself is superb—breathtaking views, serene surroundings, and a sense of timeless beauty that makes the entire experience feel truly special. What really sets Mara Serena apart, however, is the people. The staff are without question some of the friendliest, most attentive, and genuinely kind individuals we have ever encountered. A very special mention must go to the incredible team who make every guest feel like family: Wilson the manager, along with Duncan, Pamella, Daniel, Belina, Anne, and the wonderful team behind them. Their attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism elevate the experience to a level that is simply second to none. The New Year’s entertainment was outstanding—easily the best we have ever experienced. The dancing and acrobatic performances were world-class, vibrant, and unforgettable, creating an electric atmosphere that had everyone smiling and celebrating together. And then there is the food—truly exceptional. The variety, quality, and presentation of the buffet were incredible, with every meal feeling like a feast. The attention to detail in both flavor and service was impeccable, and it was clear how much care goes into every dish. Mara Serena Lodge is not just a place to stay—it is an experience. Magical, heartfelt, and unforgettable. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will cherish the memories made here for a very long time
