"Beautiful location accessed by rough track"

8.0

Wonderful location with beautiful view, friendly host, lovely and quiet.

It's a bit difficult to access up the farm track without a 4x4. We had to stop a few times and remove large stones that would have ground out my car. I've stayed in a few shepherd huts now and others had better interiors because they had bigger beds that you don't have to fold up, a bistro table and 2 chairs in the kitchen, and a hob (this one only has a tiny oven).

"Lovely place to unwind."

9.0

If you are after peace and quiet in the middle of nowhere this is perfect. Close enough to use as a base for days out but far enough out to be able to switch off and relax. David and his wife were lovely, didn't really see Sam and Ben. We are already planning to go back to share a bottle of wine with David and his wife next year. One thing I'd suggest, take camping chairs for the little porch area outside. We spent every evening sitting out there partaking of a drink or two. We stayed Monday to Friday and would of happily stayed longer if we could of.

Nothing really, yeah the shower isn't powerful, the Internet is spotty and the track leading up is pretty rough....but we expected that as it's away from the hustle and bustle and my friend and I thought it was great.

"Quite dirty,Very Disappointing"

3.0

Nice Guy called David think he is the Owner. Also the area is scenic.

We left this accommodation after about 45mins. I hadn’t realised the bed was a fold out one and so quite a small area. The duvet and pillows provided were old and grubby and the cover on the mattress was just a mattress cover so we basically had no linen. The tv advertised didn’t work and the place was dusty and dirty(crumbs on kitchen work top from last people etc). I contacted the owners who acknowledged this and said their cleaner was a new person and they are going to get the tv fixed. They offered another date to stay but I live 300 miles away on the Isle of Wight and I would not take that risk again.
