Villa Diletta Luxor

Lovely quiet location away from noise of the city. The villa is beautiful and the hosts are helpful and honest. I would recommend to anyone.

Competitive price for the area, idillic style.

Top floor gets very hot in summer, even with AC. A miss understanding with my booking, if you change dates in booking make sure to tell the property owners aswell.

Mohamed is a great host, super helpful arranging transport and offering advice about what to see etc. The villa is lovely, super spacious and comfortable - amazing value for money. Wifi works perfectly. A few metres from the riverbank, easy to take a boat over to the east side.

Big apartment with everything you need. Big kitchen, bathroom, airco in sleeping room (you need it in summer!) very nice garden with beautiful trees. Great location on the Westbank near shop and simple restaurants directly on the Nile. Very friendly and caring hosts.

The Villa Diletta is a little gem on the west bank of Louxor. It is spacious, calm and clean with a beautiful patio. Mohammed was an excellent guest and made sure we had a great tour of the Louxor sites.

Villa Diletta is an excellent place to stay. Mohamed is so nice, he took care for all my visits: Valley of the Kings and Queens, he arranged an private boat for me to go Karnak, Luxor Museum and Luxor Temple, this experience was fantastic, Also, he pick me up from de train station and arranged a Taxi to go to the Airport at 5:30 am !!! Everything was 5 stars. Thank you Roberta and Mohamed.

- The apartment The apartment has a lot of space and it really felt like a home away from home. - Host Mohammed!!! The local host Mohammed is a very friendly man, who is always available to help you and at the same time respects or privacy. - Kitchen and facilities The kitchen of the apartment has everything you need to serve yourself a nice dinner and you can decide where to eat as there is many options and enough space (on the table in the kitchen, on the couch in the living room, or my preference in the garden outside). - Calm area (especially in mornings) The area is very nice and calm in the morning and when you wake up you can enjoy the birds in the garden or you can go for a walk alongside the Nile (which is just around the corner). - Shops There is a nice grocery shop with suitable prizes at the end of the street and for any other shops you can always ask Mohammed (the local host) his advice. He knows the best spots to buy anything you need and he knows the price you should pay, which makes you stronger in your negotiations with the local people.

The only thing I didn't like about the area (or the town in general) is the people who are constantly approaching tourists to buy something. They are very annoying, but you just have to tell them that you're not interested and then ignore them.

Villa diletta was great. it is situated in a quiet part of the West Bank right near the Nile. Plenty of good food available within 3-5 mins walk. The property’s courtyard was very pleasant and very private. The washing machine was a blessing. Mohammad was very helpful and responsive to our needs.

only one issue was that the pull out sofa is not substantial enough for big kids to sleep on. Our kids managed by sleeping on the two sofas.
