Villa Rural La Zarza by Sunkeyrents

Exceptional villa with lots of space, it was peaceful, clean and well decorated. Fantastic swimming pool with heating, excellent BBQ area and outdoor space. Comfortable beds, excellent soundproofing in bedrooms and they are very dark when windows closed at night.

Distant dog barking because it is so quiet here, but you cannot hear this inside the house. Also the roads up to the village are steep and narrow thus potentially difficult for a larger car, just an FYI for anyone booking and renting a car.

the whole place itself feels like a bit of paradise in Tenerife. it’s secluded and really relaxing. the villa is well kept and clean

keep in mind that this area is a bit different then the touristic south. So internet speed isn’t the same, forced me to go to the south to work (digital nomad) and the water pressure is much lower. Also you do need a car if you’re staying here. if you’re scared of driving through the hills and mountains for a little bit then it can be a problem. but realistically it’s a 10 to 15min drive from the villa to the highway.

Fantastic house, clean, modern

Attractive location but whole road to get to location, should be perhaps highlighted as not suitable for novice drivers, very difficult steep uphill single track section of roads.

The loft is very beautiful and cosy and when it’s not cloudy, we had amazing views. We didn’t have to share the communal spaces with anyone so we could enjoy the outside (for eating and baebecueing) without being disturbed. Contact with the host was great, we almost always received an instand reply. On the last day, the host even brought us freshly plucked figs from his garden.

It was a bit further inland than we expected, so it was quite cold and difficult to reach. We were planning to take some time relaxing by the pool but it was not hot enough for that. We were also missing some basic supplies such as cooking oil, salt & pepper, shower gel, coffee (more than 2 instant packages). At night, there was a lot of barking from dogs. Lastly, the pool didn’t open completely so it was impossible to swim laps.
