"Restful 2 night stay on touring holiday of West Cape"

A little distance from Elands Bay but very pleased that we booked half-board. Good quality food with plenty of choice. Staff extremely welcoming & friendly. Very quiet when we visited at the end of the season and enjoyed the peace & tranquility. Had swimming pool to myself! Short walk over the sand dunes to private beach where we watched the sun go down. Worth a drive to Elands Bay itself to view the rock art & delightful heritage museum near the beach. Good cafe for lunch there, too.

Perfect location right next to the beach. Restaurant servicing excellent wine and food. Big plus for the fireplace in the cottage

"The rooms even have fireplaces for cold evening. A rare find."

The breakfast was excellent. There was a cold buffet, freshly baked flapjacks & muffins. In addition to this, we were offered a menu for hot breakfast. The location was excellent - a short walk over the dunes to a beautiful beach. The staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the most superb dinner in the evening - delicious and beautifully presented. We highly recommend this Lodge.
