The location was sensational. The view and the surroundings were beautiful. It was very relaxing.

The place could use some small touchups. It's quite old and the things provided for the stay were too old too. There were no bin or bin bags there and you have to take the rubbish with you.

Lovely villa in a remote location with stunning views. Very well equipped and thoughtful additions for children and things to do on a rainy day. Very comfy beds nice decor and have I mentioned the view. Roos grazing around the property at dawn and dusk and the little blue wrens were very entertaining. Have to be prepared to be 40 mins from any shops ....but that adds to the feeling of being in amongst the mountains. As soon as I arrived I booked an extra night ....and longer would have been nice....but not possible. Interesting gold mining site at Mafeking worth doing the walk around the area. Very enjoyable.

The unmade road made access in and out slow but if it hadn't been in that location there would not have been the views

Our family had a most enjoyable stay at Mafeking. A very comfortable home in a wonderfully remote location with a great Mountain view. Kangaroos, emus, and dragonflies enlivened the scene. A convenient departure point for walks in the Grampians.

Fabulous. We were very happy here. Wonderful outlook and surrounds. Very comfortable and cosy. We had telstra connectivity - no problem. Fastest out near the BBQ.
