"Wat een mooie plek!"

Wat een prachtige plek! Monkey Mansion Khao Sok is echt een unieke, eco-vriendelijke ervaring midden in de natuur. De huisjes zijn ruim en sfeervol, en het concept is volledig in lijn met de omgeving – daar moet je wel van houden. De hangmat is heerlijk om in te ontspannen en het muskietennet maakt het slapen comfortabel, ondanks de natuurlijke omgeving. Het eten is echt heel lekker en de mensen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. Daarnaast is er een goed aanbod aan tours, wat het makkelijk maakt om de omgeving te ontdekken.

Omdat het echt midden in de natuur ligt, moet je rekening houden met insecten en dieren: kevers, een gecko in de kamer en zelfs een spin in het toilet. Ook is de badkamer open, wat bij de ervaring hoort, maar niet voor iedereen ideaal is. Het kan warm zijn, mede doordat er geen airco aanwezig is, wel is er een ventilator. (wat wel begrijpelijk is gezien het eco-concept). Ook ontbreekt een koelkast; er is wel een gezamenlijke plek om eten op te bergen, maar zonder koelmogelijkheid. Een gezamenlijke koelkast zou een mooie toevoeging zijn. De locatie ligt vrij afgelegen, buiten het centrum. Taxi’s zijn daardoor relatief prijzig en er is geen Grab beschikbaar. Tot slot is het bed wat klein, maar voor één persoon prima te doen.

After Phuket, crowds of rude, war causing russians🤮 this place was amazing silent place for soul. You live literaly in the jungles. The restaurant offers you a delicious food in good prices. So sad that we stayed just only 1 night. If I go back- i definetly cancel Phuket and would stay here for all week. Thank you, for amazing place! Take care of the Garfield cat🐈🐱❤️ P.s. the fan in bungalow works amazing. You do not need the conditioner in such a place at all.
