Shayamoya Tiger Fishing and Game Lodge

Prachtige locatie. Mooi uitzicht vanuit huisje en restaurant. Veel mogelijk op gebied van activiteiten.

Verbeterpunt zou zijn om van tevoren duidelijker te communiceren wat de bijkomende activiteiten kosten. Dat was niet expliciet gezegd. Niet dat het onredelijk was de prijs maar wij hadden al verschillende lodges gehad en als de prijs niet van tevoren gecommuniceerd werd was het meestal inbegrepen. Hier niet en dat kwam ik achter bij uitchecken. Maar alles was goed en lieve mensen.

The view from the room/bungalow and the communal deck area where the restaurant is, is spectacular. The decor and layout gives a relaxed game lodge feel. We loved the small antelope which roam around. The food is delicious. The hospitality is very good. The general manager, Lindy is very welcoming and friendly. She seems to have a very good relationship with the staff, and is very proud of them and sings their praises. The staff we met all appeared to enjoy their jobs and were very friendly. Service was very good. The aloe garden and garden in general are beautiful. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for any of the activities.

Das Haus war sehr schön, Restaurant schnell erreichbar. Das Personal sehr nett.

Die Anreise ist beschwerlich und ohne Geländewagen nicht möglich.

Load shedding

Beautiful location, stunning view of the pongola dam and the lebombo mountain range. Quite and peaceful, rooms set up ( far apart ) allows for some privacy. Options of having dinner in your room is also plus. Big enough room and lots of space too.

A truly memorable experience. Peaceful and tranquil with amazing views. The staff were amazing. Beautiful food.
