Amazing little jem of a place.

Beautiful place and well thought out space.

Not enough toilet roll

It was perfect. Fully equipped from kettle to washing machine, towels etc. lovely and clean and cosy will definitely stay again.

The location was fantastic. The furniture was of good quality and clean. Downstairs toilet was very useful.

The cottage was more basic than I expected. Kitchen crockery, utensils etc were very basic. Plates and bowls chipped. Frying pan was dirty most probably because the non stick coating was gone and you couldn't cook with it. The advertised patio furniture in cobbled area was actually in the car park, not at all private. A shower attachment on the bath would be useful although they supplied a jug as there is no shower.

Everything was outstanding, I did not want to leave ,the bed is so comfortable, everything is there that you need, like a home from home

Nothing about the cottage itself, it’s very tucked away , I had to ask Carl (the host) for help to find it but he’s very helpful so no problem

not having a shower although I knew there wouldn't be one!

Location quiet, 10 minutes walk into the town center which had a variety of shops and nice park area to take a stroll, close to train station to go to Matlock Bath ect if wanted and large Sainsbury's next to train station or short drive away. There is a steep hill coming back to property, we didn't find it an issue, however, if less mobile some might find it a bit to steep. We had a lovely stay there and would recommend to friends if they are visiting area.

We went during a heat wave and found the bedroom very hot, there was a fan available in the bedroom though.

The location of the cottage was perfect for exploring the local area and nearby places such as Bakewell and Matlock Bath. Great place for walks in nature.
