SELVA RESORT Ocean View Luxury Villas

If there was ever a place that I could give more than the maximum rating, it would be the Selva Resort. I cannot fault a single thing. From the moment I booked up until the moment of checkout everyone has been amazingly friendly. Fernando has helped me in more than one way from the booking onwards up until the engagement I was planning. I could not have done it without his help. And it was not only Fernando that was truly the personification of the Pura Vida, the cleaning staff was so helpful and thoughtful aswell. Also the owner of the hotel made us feel so welcome and I did not expect to have even met him. Super friendly and a genuine man. If you are doubting whether to book this hotel, please take my statement as a guarantee of one of the (if not THE) most amazing stay in your life. Treat yourself to a holiday home of luxury and class where you can truly relax. The house itself is built in pristine condition and you feel like royalty. You are in the center of Santa Teresa, the beach is a stonethrow away and I could not imagine myself in a better place. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for this amazing time, you really made us feel special. I will definitely stay here again and again.

Couldn't fault a thing

The private infinity pool was a dream!! right in the heart of the village, close to everything. Yet, it was incredibly quiet in the mornings and evenings We had such a great time at this lovely studio! The place is super cozy and private, just a short walk from the beach. It was quiet, relaxing, and exactly what we needed, Truly one of the most peaceful and beautiful places we’ve stayed. Don’t miss it!

The resort manager, Emilio made the stay extra special. He was present when we arrived and made us feel very special and at home within seconds. He was always reachable sand responsive and had great recommendations for activities. He also booked a few activities for us which made our stay easy. The villas are pristine and confortable. The location of this property is absolutely incredible. You can see the ocean from the room! We started in the two bedroom with the swimming pool in the living room which was amazing and then had an upgrade to the villa with the pool overlooking the mountainside and ocean. Both villas were absolutely breathtaking and absolutely incredible. I would not stay anywhere else but Selva for my next trip to Santa Teresa. Additionally, our host was amazing! He was at our beck and call for anything we needed and always responded extremely quickly. He is so friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Really made our experience that much better because of him. Thank you!

(Side note, the previous review was written with hostility and injustice. )This studio is one of the most beautiful studios we've ever encountered, and it was simply magical. The location is exceptional, situated just a stone's throw from the sea and numerous delightful restaurants. The building itself features a striking design, artfully combining wood, metal, and glass in a captivating duality. One standout feature is a small pool equipped with jets, offering the soothing feel of a jacuzzi. The refined lighting system allows for intelligent control, creating the perfect ambiance. The compact kitchen comes fully equipped, catering perfectly to the needs of a couple on vacation. Additionally, the shower and toilet are not only clean but well-designed, enhancing the overall experience.The bed is extraordinarily spacious and comfortable, truly indescribable—a dream come true for any couple visiting Costa Rica. big Applause to the Selva team for providing service that transcends the ordinary. From check-in to the warm welcome, every aspect is personal and heartfelt; nothing feels remote.I highly recommend this studio, and I look forward to returning very soon!

Nothing at all

The reception manager provided us with a front gate code to enter the property. Upon arrival, he and a handful of team members met us at the parking location to walk us to our villa, help us with bags, and answer any questions we had. It was a lovely welcome to Santa Teresa, and was continued throughout our stay. Emilio constantly went out of his way to make us comfortable, suggest local experiences, and provide everything we needed.

We had an incredible experience at Villa Ivy! The villa offers breathtaking views, with a beautiful layout that feels open and airy. Having a private pool right on the terrace was absolutely amazing—perfect for relaxing while enjoying the surrounding nature. The location is fantastic—right in the heart of town, within walking distance to the beach, yet still offering the peaceful silence of the jungle. The WiFi was strong and reliable, making it easy to stay connected. A special mention to the cleaning team, who kept everything spotless, and the concierge, who was always attentive and ready to help with any detail. The positive energy and great vibes made our stay even better. We will definitely be coming back!
