A club house or bar on site just for a bit of entertainment, more places around closer for food

This is my third time here, but definitely won’t be my last! Would 100% recommend

The early check out, In my opinion, I essentially paid for two nights & three days, (usually that’s how it works) however, you loose a day, due to having to leave at an early time, which feels like abit of a rush, if this was extended until an PM leave that would be more ideal as I myself am never in a rush to leave, especially staying in such a peaceful environment I always like to take full advantage of my get aways.

The cabin itself was beautiful, the hot tub was great. It was in close proximity to tourist attractions (20-30 minute drive).

The actual location of the cabin was difficult to get to and there were floods when we went so one of the roads was completely blocked off due to the flooding which added extra time to travel to finding an alternative route.

The lodge was clean and in a quiet spot.

The shower wasn’t powerful and was difficult to get the temperature right.

The jacussi was warm and working when we arrived quite late in the evening and was lovely after a long day of walking the coastal path

The property is very dated and when we saw the jacussi in the morning we could see that it was mounted on rotted away boarding that could give way at any moment.

The peace and quite, brought the dog and the facilities for walking the dog were adequate. The hot tub was private and easily accessible. Staff were friendly as were other guests.

Only downside was the tv signal.

A lovely quiet, clean, dog friendly site in a secluded location.The lodge was bigger and more comfortable than expected. The kitchen was fully equipped with an oven, hob, fridge freezer and pots and pans. We cooked all of our meals on site. There's a short woodland walk ideal for dogs. We will be going back again.
