Villa Bahía Meloneras

We loved the house, so much space and really well stocked. Sea view was a bonus. Netflix etc, it felt like a home away from home. The basement is almost like a standalone apartment, ideal for teenagers. Fantastic service from Letitia, so nice to deal with.

The only minor negative is that the pool isn’t heated. However the pool complex is lovely, so clean and quiet. You quickly get used to the temperature of the water in the pool.

Lovely house within easy reach of shops and restaurants. Communal pool area is fabulous. Wonderful little touches like children toys, cold beer and milk in the fridge, shampoo etc provided. Kitchen well stocked. One of the best holiday rentals we have been to. Everything you could need for a family holiday. The host was exceptionally friendly and approachable.

Oliver met us at the property and was in communication in advance of our stay. He provided detailed directions in advance of our stay. Also made himself available throughout our stay should we have needed anything, we didn't. The property is within a superb complex, very clean and family friendly. The pool area is superb, we stayed at the beginning of August and the pool was generally and there were always sunloungers available no matter what time of day you went to the pool. The view from the kitchen window is beautiful looking over towards the dunes. The ai conditioning was superb with 3 units throughout, one in each bedroom and one downstairs. We were able to park our hire car right outside the apartment. Bahia is in a perfect location, nice walk (c2km) to the majority of bars and restaurants of Melonares, perfect to walk off a lovely meal or to take in the sunset on the way to dinner.

Unexpectedly quiet location. Amazing pool. There is a lot of room in the house. Very good value for the money.

There were cockroaches everywhere. Without exaggeration, we saw at least 50 in the house during our three-week stay. The house is not properly maintained, with some furniture falling apart. Additionally, the cloth dryer is too small for such a large house.

The location is fabulous and lovely and peaceful when you want it to be.

The property is great but could benefit from a little maintenance in places.
