La Montagne Guest Lodge

All was okay we struggled with hot water at first day but it was sorted ..it is peaceful.the food however let us down .but it is a peaceful place ... secluded as I wanted

The view

Firstly the road from boom gate is no friendly I think they need to warn us not use small cars Secondly I’ve noticed some things in ma room to show that it was cleaned properly Thirdly the TV was not working it kept on scanning change n I had to use ma phone to watch Bafana Bafana Lastly may they plz put phones in those rooms

The location, the view was all good but mostly the staff yooo😍 so friendly and welcoming making it feel like home. Si and Jabulane kept us on our toes laughing 🤣❤️all the way. They were heipful with everything we needed.

Sofa in room 4 is not usable🙁

The staff was very kind and helpful.

Location

The waiters, bar men, and cleaners were very nice, helpful and greeted us every day. Great view. Nice pool and hot water jacuzzi

The staff working in the reception office were not so nice, e.g. some mornings we were not greeted. It was difficult to find the location, Google maps took us to a completely wrong place, even though we used the directions from booking.com. The breakfast was not so good because it was the same every morning with little variety. The burgers we ordered on Saturday evening were horrible, the beef patties were very salty and the buns were hard and old. The pool were not cleaned on a consistent basis.

The rooms are spacious, The staff members are very kind

I wish the breakfast was buffet, I didn’t like eating the same meal. The route to get to the property is bad.
