Villa El Capricho

Beautiful villa. All amenities you need. Well equipped. Great communication from Stephanie and nothing was an issue if message. The walk into Mijas is not the easiest but definitely manageable (we pushed a buggy up and down). I would recommend a car for shopping as nothing nearby. This was a return visit for us and the improvements were nice and made the villa even more pleasant. Stephanie discussed further improvements she has planned.

Pool is definitely on the chilly side but to be expected in April. Unfortunately due to the price increase, it is unlikely that we will be back as it has doubled in price since we came last July and April this year.

Trés jolie villa au calme avec une vue fantastique. Les proprietaires sont disponibles en cas de besoin. La villa dispose de tout les equipements necessaires pour passer un bon sejour.

The villa was very stunning every bedroom was very comfortable to sleep on the beds liked how had washing machine being a large family needed one while away the bedrooms was very good sized and plenty of showers and toilets to use garden was very stunning the view from villa u can see straight to beach which was a very stunning view very happy definitely will return to this villa

Only thing was a issue was how deep the shallow end was in pool as my children couldn’t swim in the shallow end

clear information given, Steph resolved our small issues quickly. The garden and pool area very well maintained, plenty of chairs and loungers. Beach towels supplied which was great. Property had plenty of equipment, cutlery, utensils, gadgets (no pizza cutter) Lots of choice for seating/eating/relaxing. Assortment of games, left over sun creams and toiletries You do need transport, however, whilst we had cars, we chose to walk or taxi it (taxi's were very reasonable, walking not for the unfit!) Doing a 'big' shop at Aldi or Lidl (info supplied by Steph) is the best option. There is a smaller supermarket in Mijas though.

Whilst the pool and pool area were excellent, but be wary, it was very deep even at the shallow end. Pool man came on our last day first thing which meant a change of plans (which was totally fine) as the pool was unavailable for several hours. It would have been better if maintenance was done in the evening, but great to see standards were being met.

The villa was lovely Steph the host with the most, great communication We had a problem with the swimming pool 6 days into our stay was sorted within 2 hours Views to die for especially off the upper balcony Very Clean Comfortable beds Cleaner Gardener Pool man excellent Grandchildren especially loved the swimming pool Secluded no one overlooking Secure we all felt safe Fully equipped kitchen 9 of us 6 adults 3 children 6 year old 3 year old 10 month cot and high chair child gate top and bottom of stairs Good WiFi Would definitely rent again Well done Steph ❤️

You do need a hire car although taxis are readily available a hire car is a must for food and drink shopping and rubbish disposal A very steep walk up hill to Mijas Pueblo heart attack hill. My son and I walked it once up to the Pueblo once was enough Taxis range in price we ordered 3 taxis for us all and even though the exact same route and at the very same time was a 3 euro difference

I have been a number of villa holidays and this one did not disappoint. I was on a family holiday with 10 of us in total and there was loads of space. Big and comfortable rooms. Kitchen with everything you could ask for. Great outdoor space with a huge pool.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
