Villa Belja

The size of the villa and the pool area were great for our family holiday. There is an Aldi around the corner which is really convenient and a taxi to the harbour was only 4-5 euros (it was further to walk than we expected) Playa Blanca is a lovely place with some amazing views and restaurants. There is a lot of storage space in the bedrooms for hanging clothes and an ironing board and washing machine which came in handy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need, although there were only 3 wine glasses. The owner Belkis was available to answer any questions and was very helpful.

As others have mentioned it could really benefit from some redecorating and general maintenance. There were a few things that were broken and some things could have been cleaner. We had quite a few cockroaches appear in the bedrooms. The outside area could also do with some parasols as there isn’t much shade. It’s a real shame as it is a lovely villa but could do with some serious TLC which would make it amazing.

Het aantal stoelen en grootte van tafel viel tegen voor 8 persoonshuisje. De vaatwasser was erg klein voor 8 personen. Stoelen en ligbedden waren toe aan een reparatie of vervanging en de schakelaar van de woonkamer stoorde als je hem aandoet.

We had a really lovely stay. It was a perfect location, with ALDI just a 7 minute walk away, and beaches were close as well. The host was very helpful and kind.

There was an issue with tiny bugs on the food in cupboards but it just meant being extra careful with sealing open packets.

The villa was lovely and spacious for a group of 6 friends, and we had everything we needed for the week. We all loved the large outdoor space for sunbathing and the swimming pool. We used the BBQ a couple of times when we were there, and all the supplies you require for the week can be found at Aldi, a 10 minute walk down the road.. We would all definitely return.

Pool and garden area exceptional staff were on hand if straight away if needed house was spacious for a large family would definitely recommend 100%

The villa has potential and the outside space is a good size but it’s badly let down by poor maintenance, cleaning and up keep.

Sadly we were hugely dissatisfied and disappointed with Villa Belja - the pool was filthy when we arrived, mould growing on the tiles and we cleaned it ourselves. Ants had infested the kitchen, the walls were dirty and the general state of the furniture inside and out was poor. It was a big surprise to us as the previous reviews had been positive - and the owner did try to help - but this is a property that needs to total overall, renovation and clean to justify the cost.
